They have lived on the Big Island of Hawaii for 12 years. While you enjoy your stay at our Hawaiian vacation hale, tour our coffee, chocolate & banana plantation. Kona Shark’s coffee is the dream of Tom Sharkey, a former California grape grower/winemaker, who has a passion for agriculture. Tom was a middle & highschool science teacher for 7 years. He is an avid plant enthusiast and nature lover and has been experimenting with growing & processing coffee, chocolate & bananas for the past 10 years and has the best macadamia nuts you will ever taste. Tom also owns & opperates Shark's Tours. Tom loves to take people to see the active volcano and the many waterfalls which adorn the windward side of the island. Sarito is a sculptor & mediator. P.O.
